UPS Supply Chain Solutions won the 2005 BOMA Atlanta TOBY Award in the Corporate Facility category. The property was managed by Carter, where Grace Bickham, RPA was responsible for managing the property.
UPS Supply Chain Solutions is a unit of United Parcel Service (UPS), was the world’s largest package delivery company and a global leader in supply chain services at the time the award was received. The UPS Supply Chain Solutions corporate headquarters, a six-story, 300,000-sqft facility comprised of two towers connected by a common area core that form a “Z” shaped building footprint, was built on 14 acres in Alpharetta, Georgia.
The facility featured open space plan with hard-wall offices along the perimeter. There were 58 conference rooms with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment to accommodate the business needs of the 1,386 employees who worked at the facility. Additionally, employees enjoyed a full-service cafeteria, complimentary fitness center, covered parking, and an outdoor seating area overlooking a natural wooded area with a large cascading koi pond.
