Doctors Center was the first medical office building constructed on the Saint Joseph’s Hospital campus in 1978 when the hospital was relocated to its North Atlanta campus from the former downtown Atlanta location, now home of the Marriott Marquis. In 1981, a second three-story medical office building was constructed, and in 1991, a third nine-story medical office building was constructed. All three buildings were interconnected by a sky-lit atrium and connection tunnels to the hospital. Lillibridge purchased the three medical office buildings from Saint Joseph’s Hospital in March of 2000. The project also includes a seven-level parking deck with 1,181 parking spaces for the medical office buildings. The buildings boast a beautiful, three-story atrium featuring hardwoods at the first floor. Many of the office buildings’ tenants are original to the opening of the buildings and continue to flourish in partnership with Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
