An excerpt from the building’s award entry is below:

100 City View is located on a 16-acre site, which is zoned for more than 700,000 square feet of office density. The master site plan situates the building in a 6-acre park, which envelops the development with lush trees, natural setting and a five-mile jogging trail. City View is conveniently located at the corner of Highway 41 and Cumberland Boulevard.
Tenants enjoy the International Plaza, a people place and auto court complimented by trees, park benches and seven fountains, each representing a continent of the world, North American, South American, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and Antarctica.

The building lobby furnishings include a bronze collection of baseball players, depicted by sculptor, John Dreyfus, which is a batter, catcher, umpire and pitcher. Dreyfus wanted to make a statement and that is that baseball is not simply a sport, but an American game. Beyond baseball’s drama of the full count, Dreyfuss shows our willingness to seize the moment, accept the challenge and strive for excellence.

Dramatic and stunning views of metro Atlanta can be seen from City View, which is how the property got its name. On-site amenities include: deli/café and sundries, Metro on-site automotive services, fitness center, 24-hour card key access and security features, fiber optic communication cabling, free covered parking and a conference/seminar center for tenant use on a reservation basis, lobby plasma screen, accessing to CNN with local weather, news and traffic as well as announcements for upcoming events such as one of the many tenant appreciation events hosted by the management team.

City View is specifically designed to meet the needs of today’s office tenant featuring state-of-the-art mechanical, electrical and communication systems. The HVAC system is designed to allow each tenant full independent control.
