T. Howard McKey, Jr

T. Howard McKey, Jr. served as 1957-1959 BOMA Atlanta President.

He moved from Valdosta, Georgia to Atlanta in 1923 and in 1930 became manager of the real estate department of A. G. Rhodes & Sons, which was headquartered in the Rhodes Building, located on Marietta Street in downtown Atlanta. In this position, he was responsible for “the active management of the Rhodes Building … and handling of rentals on other Rhodes properties,” according to the September 7, 1930 issue of The Constitution, Atlanta newspaper. Prior to joining A. G. Rhodes & Sons, he worked with the Phoenix Planning mill in Atlanta. He also served as a Major in the Army Corps of Engineers during World War II.  

He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1922 with a degree in mechanical engineering.

T. Howard McKey, Jr. died on May 9, 1974 and at that time was serving as Vice President of Rhodes, Inc.
