Mark Dukes

2021 - 2022 | BOMA International Chair and Chief Elected Officers

Mark Dukes, BOMA Fellow, RPA, CCIM, Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Physicians Realty Trust, served as a member of the BOMA International Executive Committee from 2017 to 2023, including the 2021-2022 term as BOMA International Chair and Chief Elected Officer.

In March 2022, Mark was promoted from Vice President of Asset Management at Physicians Realty Trust, a position he held from joining the company in 2016. At Physicians Realty Trust, he oversaw operations of the company’s 37-state health care portfolio, mostly medical office buildings affiliated with major health care systems, which had a gross asset value of $5.9 billion.

Prior to joining Physicians Realty Trust, Mark was responsible for overseeing Duke Realty’s health care portfolio, totaling more than 6.5. million square feet in 16 states. He began his property management career at Carter & Associates in 1991. During his 15-year tenure at Carter & Associates, he led property management teams in the office, retail, mixed-use, and corporate facility sectors.

Mark served as 2015 BOMA Georgia President. He was also named the 2015 BOMA Southern Region Member of the Year and received BOMA Georgia’s highest honor, the Huey Award in 2015.

Mark graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1984. He earned the CCIM designation from the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute in 2013 and the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute International in 1996. In 2018, he was named a BOMA Fellow.
