According to the May 16, 1943 issue of The Atlanta Constitution, “The election of L. A. McKinley, of the Burdett Realty Company, as president of the Atlanta Association of Building Owners and Managers, was a deserved recognition of loyal and faithful services to the association for several years. He had been serving the past three years or more as treasurer, and gave splendid service at different times on important committees. He succeeds C. F. Wilkinson, who has been serving as president since Fred B. Moore entered the armed forces.”
