John McBreen

John McBreen, PRA, served as 1992 BOMA Atlanta President.

A New York City native, McBreen permanently relocated to Atlanta in 1983 to work for Equitable Real Estate Investment Management. He worked his way up the ranks with Equitable, eventually becoming the company’s regional financial VP. With a reputation for being an experienced transaction manager with solid team-building and negotiating skills, Mcbreen enjoyed a long and successful career in commercial real estate. His career includes stints at Grubb and Ellis Company as an account manager, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as a regional leasing manager, and Ricoh Americas Corporation as a commercial real estate manager. McBreen obtained a bachelor of science in economics from Manhattan College and conducted studies toward his MBA at Pace Graduate School in New York City. He also holds his RPA designation from BOMI, as well as an associate broker’s license from the Georgia Real Estate Commission. In the past, McBreen has been involved with the Socity of Real Property Administrators, the Real Estate Security Syndication Institute, and the National Association of Accountants. He also has a positive track record of civic involvement, having worked with the Boys Club through the Buckhead Optimist Club.

John earned the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
