Florence Barbour, RPA, CPM, served as 2008 BOMA Atlanta President.

Florence Barbour joined Winthrop Management in 2007 with decades of property management experience. Before joining the company, she acted as a general manager for Carr America Realty and Parthenon Realty within the Atlanta office portfolio. Throughout her career as a senior property manager, Barbour spent years in the Dallas, Memphis and Tampa markets with a large portfolio of office properties while working with Trammell Crow Company and Weston Companies. Her expertise is in tenant relations, tenant construction and overseeing base building construction with several “out of the ground” projects including the Wells Fargo high-rise building in downtown Tampa, the mid-rise Porsche building in Atlanta and The Art Institute building in Atlanta. In addition to being extremely active within BOMA, Barbour is also active in other industry associations such as CREW (Commercial Real Estate for Women), IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) and ACBR (Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors). Barbour holds the distinguished industry designations of RPA and CPM and has Georgia and Florida real estate licenses.

Florence earned the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute International and the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
