Brooke Bachesta with JLL Named a 10 to Watch
Brooke Bachesta, Director of Learning Design with JLL in Seattle, Washington, has been selected by CRE Insight Journal as one of the 10 to Watch in commercial real estate. The CRE Insight Journal 10 to Watch program recognizes the commercial real estate industry’s top early career professionals and showcases how emerging professionals are shaping the real estate industry through a variety of career pathways.
At JLL, Brooke is responsible for designing and executing scalable training programs tailored for the company’s revenue teams across Sales, Solutions Development, and Business Development. In this capacity, she launched “Power Hour,” a weekly training series for client-facing team members. In 2024, the Sales Effectiveness team hosted 33 sessions, sustaining a 98.4 percent satisfaction rate, and has grown the attendee list nearly 500% — the distribution list now includes over 600 individuals. Additionally, she spearheaded JLL’s first product certification in 2023 which drove not only awareness of a new product launch, but had material positive influence on pipeline sourced and closed won revenue. She has applied that framework to role specific programs, including the Solution Manager Academy. The Academy is a continuous learning initiative that partners directly with front line leaders and department executives to enhance team expertise, document best practice, and level up the field. Based on the success of this program, there are plans to scale this format to other departments in 2025.
Reflecting on her position, Brooke said, “As an enablement professional, we must influence without always having authority and lean on our strategic partnerships with stakeholders and the field to get things done. In my role, I’m able to create impactful, scalable training that supports our revenue teams.”
Brooke is also committed to community service. “I enjoy spending time outside with my husband and our two rescue dogs . We love climbing, backpacking, hiking, biking – anything that gets us outside! As a result, I have become acutely aware of the impact we make on our surroundings and the stress humanity places on the environment,” she said. This has led her to volunteer work such as serving on local trail maintenance crews, which mobilize hikers and lovers of the outdoors to explore, steward and champion trails and public lands.
Before working with JLL, Brooke held the role of Revenue Enablement Lead at Outreach.io for their XDR team, leading onboarding and professional development programs. Amidst the global Covid pandemic, she restructured the onboarding program for a remote, and then hybrid work environment. Brooke was at Outreach for 4.5 years and had roles in Sales Development Management, and co-chairing DEI programs for Womin in Sales. She received Outreach.io’s 2022 Employee of the Year award.
On real estate’s potential for positive impact, Brooke said, “We have an incredible opportunity ahead – to think long term about the way we tackle growth and retrofitting, the way we think about sustainability, and the way we think about the human experience in the buildings we live, work and play in.”
