Saylors J. Andre received Honorary Membership in BOMA Atlanta in 1985.

According to the April 30, 1985, Board of Directors meeting minutes, “It was moved that nominations be presented to the membership for Honorary Memberships for Past President Saylors Andre’ and Richard Landis, as both are reaching retirement and deserve to be recognized by this Association. It was further moved that recommendations for Life Memberships be forwarded to the Southern Conference and BOMA International for both of these members. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously.”

Saylors was subsequently listed as an Honorary Member of BOMA Atlanta in the 1985 BOMA Atlanta membership directory.

Saylors served as 1969-1971 BOMA Atlanta President and as 1969-1970 BOMA Southern Conference President.

Saylors was a Savannah native who attended school at Savannah High School and West Point Preparatory School. Following school, he served in both World War II and the Korean War Veteran. After his military service, he worked for Georgia Power Company for 39 years in several positions including manager of the Atlanta Central District. Andre was a longtime member of East Point First Mallalieu United Methodist Church, as well as a member of American Legion Post #145.
