Michele T. Nerone, Vice President of Sheehan Stone Specialists, received the 1998 George Richardson Award from BOMA Atlanta.

The George R. Richardson Award may be presented annually to any member within BOMA Atlanta for outstanding achievement in or contribution to BOMA and to the office building industry during the immediate preceding year.

This award was presented to Michele Nerone, Vice President of Sheehan Stone Specialists. Michele has been a BOMA Atlanta member since 1993 and became an active committee member the next year. Currently, she is a Board of Directors member and Chair of the Allied Council. She was 1998 Holiday Social Chair, 1997 Publications Committee Chair, and 1997 Co-Chair of the TOBY Nominating Committee. In addition, she has been a member of the Communications Committee, the TOBY Judging Committee, and the Publications Committee.

Michele worked previously for Therrel-Kizer Roofing, Inc. as Marketing Director. She is a graduate of Seton Hall University where she majored in Communications and worked as a sports writer for daily newspapers while attending college. Michele, who moved to Georgia in 1993, was born and raised in New Jersey. She is married and has two stepsons.
