Through the nomination process, Jack Kennedy was identified as the perfect individual to attain the Engineer of the Year Award. In addition to being a friendly individual who goes out of his way to invite engineers and other BOMA professionals to the BOMA Technical Organization (BTO) events. Kennedy is also described as being a strong proponent of continuing education. Not only does he promote BOMA educational opportunities for others, he also participates as an instructor for BOMA courses, focusing on curriculum geared toward engineering.
