Debbie Cook, RPA, with CBRE, received BOMA Georgia’s 2013 Manager of the Year Award. Debbie was nominated by multiple members for this award, with all praising her leadership skills. One member said, she is a team player with both co-workers and vendors. A BOMA Georgia allied member said of her, “I can confidently say that working alongside her has been the most prolific and cohesive experience I have had.”

Yet another member said, “Debbie continues to seek ways to operate her building in an efficient manner. This is evident in her building’s recent BOMA 360 designation and ENERGY STAR ratings.” A BOMA Georgia building engineer member said, “Her overall knowledge and caring nature is one of her best tools in dealing with any situation. Whether a tenant, vendor or visitor to her property, everyone is treated with respect and a friendly smile.”

Debbie’s supervisor praised her for leading her team to the BOMA 360 designation for their building, allowing her property to reduce overall electrical consumption by 9%, realizing a savings of $60,000. And a coworker noted, “Debbie strives for excellence, as she stays late, comes in early, and puts in the weekend hours to meet her deadlines and keep her clients happy.”

Debbie also earned the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
