Dan Foster, Director of Property Management with COMPASS Management and Leasing, received the 1992 William C. Clonts Award from BOMA Atlanta. Below is an article about Dan published in the February 1993 BOMA Atlanta Newsletter.

Dan B. Foster was selected to receive the William C. Clonts Award. This recognition may be presented by the association annually to any member who has rendered outstanding and consistent service to BOMA and the office building industry over a considerable period of time.

Dan is Director of Property Management for COMPASS Management and Leasing, Inc. and has more than 20 years experience in the real estate industry, primarily in property management. He presently is involved with the management of over 50 buildings. He has managed more than 10 million square feet of commercial, industrial, retail and residential properties.

Dan opened Tower Place, Buckhead ‘s first multi-use project, in 1975 and was Vice President and General Manager of that complex until 1984. His previous experience also includes a top management position with Marrett Associates and President of an affiliate company, Sentinel Properties.

Prior to joining COMPASS in 1990, Dan was Vice President of VRS Realty Services (formerly Vantage Southeast) for 6 year where he managed a real estate portfolio exceeding 4 million square feet.

Dan was President of BOMA Atlanta in 1988 when the association received the nation’s most outstanding “Local Association of the Year” award. Dan is a member of the American Arbitration Association and has served on the Board of Advisors of Dorey’s Office Guide.
