Carrah Golightly, Director of Business Development and Marketing at Mayberry Electric, received the 2021 BOMA Georgia Allied Member of the Year Award. The award was created to recognize outstanding achievement or contributions to BOMA and to the office building industry.

“This year’s award recipient has been an amazing addition to her company. Her infectious and outgoing personality has been a huge motivator for those around her. She is driven and dedicated to the commercial real estate community and has worked tirelessly in BOMA throughout her time in the industry,” said a BOMA Georgia member. “Many people have their hands full with work in one or two committees, but she has gone above and beyond, participating in nine different committees since joining BOMA.”

Another BOMA Georgia member said, “She cares about those around her and strives to learn more each and every day.” And an individual who nominated Carrah for the award wrote in their nomination of her, “She is an incredible go-getter and will always try to meet new people. If you are in this industry, you’ll meet her eventually and you will see first-hand the kindness and attention she gives to everyone she meets. Her involvement and commitment to the real estate industry is an inspiration to us all.”

Carrah joined BOMA Georgia in 2017 and has been an active member of the BOMA Technical Organization, Allied Member Resource Group, Community Service Committee, Sports Outing Committee, Professional Development Council, Trade Show Committee, Industry Insight Committee, Membership Committee, and Foundation Development Committee.

Carrah joined Mayberry Electric in 2018, following a year with ABM as a Sports and Entertainment Proposal Specialist. Before that, she served a year with firstPRO as an Executive Recruiter and two years with Capgemini as a Project Management Lead.

Carrah graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in December 2013.
