Steve Harrison, RPA, FMA, served as 2002 BOMA Atlanta President.

Steve began his career in the commercial real estate business in 1974 as an assistant chief engineer coming out of the HVAC industry. He worked his way through the ranks managing maintenance departments, supervising twenty-four hour building control centers, and managing and training property fire safety and emergency procedures. He has extensive experience in energy management and as a facilities manager for a corporate headquarters building and data center. Harrison joined The Parmenter Company in January 1996 as property manager of 230 Peachtree. In this capacity, he was responsible for on-site management 230 Peachtree including a multi-million dollar renovation project. He eventually worked his way up to become the company’s director of facilities and sustainability. Harrison has vast expertise in evaluating the operation of buildings from a sustainable high performance prospective. One of his major strengths is advising asset managers on matters related to capital expenditures and operations. As a result of his extensive experience in building operations, construction, and systems operation, he has acquired a great deal of knowledge in all areas of property management. Harrison received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Coast Guard in 1970, is a member the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and a licensed real estate agent in Georgia.

Steve earned the Real Property Administrator (RPA) and Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) designations from the Building Owners and Managers Institute.
