TRENDY Award (Formerly All Media Contest)

2025 | Association TRENDS

BOMA Georgia was recognized by Association TRENDS with a 2025 Bronze TRENDY Award in the Best Rebrand category. The association received the award for rebranding its community service program to CRE CARES.

As part of the rebranding efforts, the association created a new CRE CARES logo and website. The word CARES was also developed into an acronym: Community Advancement through Resources, Education, and Support. The following text was developed to describe the newly rebranded community service initiative:

CRE CARES brings together commercial real estate (CRE) professionals and product and service providers to the CRE industry to serve nonprofit organizations in our communities who are in need.

We leverage CRE to spark Community Advancement through Resources, Education, and Support.

A vibrant nonprofit sector is foundational to strong, healthy communities. Many of our nonprofit organizations need help operating their facilities, maintaining their properties, and ultimately fulfilling their mission. That’s where CRE CARES comes in. We connect nonprofit organizations in need with CRE professionals who have the knowledge, skills, and relationships to help nonprofit organizations thrive.

We provide resources to refurbish properties owned or operated by nonprofit organizations. We provide educational opportunities for nonprofit staff and volunteers to operate their properties more effectively and environmentally sustainably. And we support nonprofit organizations in fulfilling their mission, ultimately advancing the communities in which we live, work, and come together.

At the time the award was received, the mission of Association TRENDS, a subsidiary of Columbia Books, was to “equip association industry professionals with the tools they need to better understand and serve their associations and the industry at large” by providing “a variety of services including research, publications, training programs, events, and more.”
