Power of Associations Award (Formerly Power of A Award)

2024 | American Society of Association Executives

BOMA Georgia was recognized by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) with a 2024 Gold Power of Associations Award in the Power of Diversity and Inclusion category. A Gold Power of Associations Award is the second highest honor an association can earn from ASAE.

In 2024, the Power of Diversity and Inclusion award category recognized associations that addressed diversity and inclusion in any of the following four areas: workplace/workforce diversity and inclusion; operational excellence; governance, volunteer and member recruitment, retention and engagement; and cultural competence programming and resource development.

BOMA Georgia received the award for its Intentionally Inclusive Thought Leadership Initiative.

“Congratulations to Building Owners and Managers Association of Georgia for exemplifying the impact associations have on the industries and professions they represent, and on society at large,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “It’s always so incredibly satisfying to see associations going above and beyond their everyday mission to change the world. We’re very proud to spotlight this award-winning initiative.”

At the time the award was received, ASAE was a membership organization of more than 45,000 association executives and industry partners. Additionally, over the course of more than a century, ASAE grew to become the premier source of learning, knowledge, and future-oriented research for the association and nonprofit profession, providing resources, education, ideas, and advocacy to enhance the power and performance of the association and nonprofit community.
