BOMA-Atlanta was recognized by BOMA International with an Experience Exchange Report (EER) Top Ten Award in 1987. The awards program recognized the 10 BOMA local associations that had the most participation in submitting data to the EER.
The EER was first published in 1920 to allow property professionals to share information as they sought to manage and operate buildings in the fast-evolving commercial real estate landscape. The report provided annual income and expense data for commercial buildings. For a century, it provided the real estate industry’s most comprehensive and accurate income and expense data for the office sector and was used by real estate professionals to benchmark their asset’s financial performance, increase operational efficiency, build better budgets, and more. The EER was discounted by BOMA International in 2020.
