Communitas Award

BOMA-Atlanta received a 2010 Communitas Award for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility. The award recognized BOMA-Atlanta’s Green Real Estate Summit. The Green Real Estate Summit brought together property managers, facility managers, asset managers, building engineers, and commercial real estate product and service providers to explore actionable ways to improve environmental sustainability through the real estate industry.

Communitas, is a Latin word that means people coming together for the good of a community. The Communitas Awards program was designed to recognize volunteerism and ethical, sustainable business practices. The awards program was coordinated by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
