TRENDY AWARD (FORMERLY ALL MEDIA CONTEST)

BOMA Georgia was recognized by Association TRENDS with a 2023 Bronze TRENDY Award in the Promotional Items category.

In response to the age of social media, texting, and email, BOMA Georgia created designed a multipurpose notecard that staff and volunteer leaders used to personally communicate with others. The cards were used for handwritten notes thanking members for their volunteer service; congratulating individuals on achieving personal and professional milestones; expressing gratitude to elected officials; thanking sponsors for their support; and in many other ways.

“The card’s design plays off the association’s logo colors and its informal text, “Hey There!” ensures that it is suitable for a wide range of purposes,” said Gabriel Eckert, FASAE, CAE, BOMA Georgia Chief Executive Officer. “Since creating these cards, the amount of personal, handwritten communication from staff and volunteer leaders to others has increased significantly and our staff has received many positive comments from individuals who have received the cards.”

At the time the award was received, the mission of Association TRENDS, a for-profit corporation, was to “equip association industry professionals with the tools they need to better understand and serve their associations and the industry at large through research, publications, training programs, events, and more.”
