She joined UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital in 2000. One faculty member, one fellow, and occasionally a resident or medical student provide all of the gastroenterology-hepatology consultation services at the Iowa City VA Health Care System. Our faculty specialize in the management of patients with GI bleeding, biliary and pancreatic disease, swallowing disorders, severe liver disease, liver transplantation, malabsorption and inflammatory bowel disease. He then attended the Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, IN graduating followed by a three year Internal Medicine Residency at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.
