Georgia Power Headquarters is owned by Georgia Power Company; designed by Heery Heery; and managed by Kelly Furr with Cassidy Turley. Completed in 1980, this 24-story building is constructed of concrete with tempered spandrel glass panels. Contiguous to the 24-story tower is a three-story ancillary building which houses Georgia Power’s 24-7 operations and a three-story connector building which serves as additional office space. The 16-acre corporate campus also supports a five-story gated parking deck, childcare center and maintains one of the largest privately owned green spaces in downtown Atlanta featuring an open-air pavilion and a 100 percent recycled rubber walking trail. In addition to corporate office space, the facility contains the center for transmission load control, computer data center, video production studio, print shop and corporate dining facility.
