Luther P. Call, Jr. served as BOMA Atlanta Executive Secretary from 1957 to 1970.

According to an article in the July 5, 1959, issue of The Atlanta Journal, in 1959 Luther was elected treasurer of the Associated Secretaries of the National Association of Building Owners and Managers. The article says, “the Associated Secretaries group is made up of executive officers of the 65 federated BOMA associations. In addition to this national honor, Mr. Call was recently re-elected executive vice president of the Southern Conference of BOMA.”

According to an article in the March 23, 1942, issue of The Atlanta Constitution, Luther was “a veteran of World War 1, having served in England, France and Italy as both enlisted man and officer in the field artillery. He formerly was connected with the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta.”

According to a funeral announcement in the January 6, 1970, issue of The Atlanta Constitution, Luther was a U.S. Army colonel “and his last assignment was as retirement affairs officer at Ft. McPherson. He was a Mason, a member of the Yaarab Temple and was past exalted ruler of Elks Lodge 78.”

Luther died on January 3, 1970, and is buried at Marietta National Cemetery.
