Rutledge Beacham

Rutledge Beacham was awarded the Huey award for his outstanding and consistent service to BOMA and the office building industry over a considerable period of time. Beacham, who has been active in BOMA leadership for many years, served BOMA-Atlanta as secretary-treasurer, president-elect, and then was elected president for 1998. In that year, he also chaired the BOMA International Medical Office Building Seminar held in Atlanta. Beacham also chaired the BOMA International Convention held in Atlanta in 1999. He served on several BOMA International committees: the International Finance Committee, the Medical Office Building Committee and the Corporate Facilities Committee. For BOMA-Atlanta, Beacham served tirelessly on the Seminars Committee. Beacham joined CARTER in 1978, and was the vice president of management and leasing with primary responsibility for quality assurance, staff development, training and new business transitions. Beacham obtained a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and a Georgia Real Estate Brokers License. He received his RPA designation in 1983.
