2017 | Huey AwardCompany: Brand Properties

Patrick M. Freeman, BOMA Fellow, RPA, SMA, CPM, CCIM, LEED AP, with Brand Properties, was recognized with BOMA Georgia’s highest honor in 2017: the Huey Award. “This year’s winner is famous—dare I say infamous—for holding nearly every designation available to a real estate professional,” said Miller Getz, 2013 BOMA Georgia President. “I have heard it joked that it is easier to list the letters of the alphabet that are not in his name, than those that are. Fun fact: just in case you are wondering, it is nine. There are nine letters of the alphabet that you won’t find in Pat’s name and in his designation listing that follows it.”

“Pat is a strong supporter of continuing education for his team and inspires other BOMA members to advance their career through education as well,” said Gabriel Eckert, BOMA Georgia’s Chief Executive Officer.

Over the years, Pat has has participated in nearly every committee there is in BOMA Georgia, notably as a member of the Trade Show, Sports Outing, Membership, TOBY, Nominations and Community Service committees, as well as a member of the Allied Member Resource Group and Professional Development Council. Pat is also a past president of BOMA-Atlanta and past chair of the BOMA Georgia Foundation Board of Trustees. His service to BOMA also extends to the regional and international levels, culminating in his service as a member of the BOMA International Executive Committee.

A member who nominated Pat for this award said, “There are many people in BOMA for whom he has provided guidance and friendship over the years, and I couldn’t think of another individual who would be a better candidate for this recognition.”
